This privacy policy applies to the Android app Väki: A Kalevala Idle (package name com.kalevalaidle.vaki), developed by FinlandFacts ("we", "us").
Väki: A Kalevala Idle does not run its own account system and does not collect personal information you type in directly, and does not use your location. The app shows optional rewarded video ads (Google AdMob), offers one optional in-app purchase (Google Play Billing), and offers optional cloud save via Google Play Games Services. All three are third-party Google services that collect limited data as described below.
None. The app has no account system or user profile of its own, no chat or messaging, and does not ask you to type in any personal information. Your game progress (Väki amount, generators owned, settings, purchase status) is stored in a local save file on your device. If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games (see below), that same progress is also stored in Google's own cloud save service, linked to your Google Account — not on any server we control.
Google AdMob (advertising). The app shows optional rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) and other technical/usage data, and may use them to select and measure ads, consistent with Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Billing (in-app purchase). The app offers one optional one-time purchase ("Remove Ads") processed entirely through Google Play's own billing system. We do not receive or store your payment details — that is handled by Google, consistent with Google Play's own terms and privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Games Services (optional cloud save). If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, the app uses your Google Account identity to store and restore your game progress across devices via Google's own Saved Games service. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not operate the server that stores this data — that is handled by Google, consistent with Google Play's own terms and privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Signing in is entirely optional; the app works fully without it.
None of these three services are used unless you actively watch a rewarded ad, make the purchase, or sign in for cloud save; core gameplay works without any of them.
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads shown via AdMob are subject to Google's own AdMob policies.
Your local save data stays on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app or clear the app's data. If you signed in with Google Play Games, your cloud save is stored by Google, linked to your Google Account, until you delete it yourself or through us — see our dedicated Account and Data Deletion page for the exact steps. If you made the "Remove Ads" purchase, that purchase record is held by Google Play (not by us) and can be viewed or managed through your Google Play account.
